WE'RE FINISHED!! Other than having to paint his closet door and the window sill, Josh and I have completed Max's room on schedule. His Auntie Erin gave us some really great maps from her office, so we decided to use them for the "theme" of his room. In addition to the maps, I have included some of Josh's treasures from his "days in Nam" and gifts he has received from various friends who've traveled around the world. These so-called treasures will have to be placed higher on the bookshelf as our little Max grows into a curious bebe, but for now they fit nicely with the "Explorer" theme. I can't thank Josh enough for painting and putting in the new baseboards and electrical sockets, as I absolutly abhor participating in any kind of house repairs... I strictly try to involve myself in decorating and furnishing.:-) Now, we could have done a lot more with his room, but frankly I'm much too impatient for all the steps involved and settled for the basics.
Josh and I are really excited to meet our new kid...should be in just a couple of months. Yay!

Yeah, that's Josh's dart board above the dresser...that's coming down at some point.;-)
