Okay, so, maybe it turned into more like two or three, inches. But it's a "trim" nonetheless.
More importantly, her curls have remained intact and have been given more life. Success.

"Just one or two inches, Babe."
I decided to call Josh and tell him that I'd be giving Mazzy her first haircut. I sensed a little concern in his voice and quickly assured him it was just a "trim".

Gosh I can't decide which is more beautiful of Maz. The photo with her bair brushed out or her new 'do! That girl is somethin'! So impressed that you had the guts to cut it! Great job Keri.

I saved a clump of hair...what I'm going to do with it? I have no idea.
I was gonna ask if you saved some too...so glad you did! It IS her first haircut afterall. Put it in her baby book. It doesn't matter that she is nearly 4 years old. ;-)
Love these photos so much. Max in the tub is super cute, I just want to squeeze him. And that Mazzy is somethin' else. So pretty and SO good in front of the camera. LOVE her new 'do. Shiny bouncy curls...color me jealous ova' here. ;-)
She is just so beautiful! you did a fantastic job! I know it seems kinda wierd to save the hair, but just today Taryn wanted to look through her baby book (and then her sisters) and the coolest part of it too her was checking out all the hair!
