Mazzy is turning five this summer and I feel that she is old enough to handle a few simple "chores" around the house. The tasks are simple and really take no time at all. I'm hoping the chart encourages her to "help out" more around the house and take pride in her work. She often asks to feed our cat, Piper, and she enjoys making MY bed, so I felt she's appreciate her three new jobs. After completing each job, she'll have the opportunity to put a sticker in a "shape".
After she fills the chart completely her dad or I will take her to get a special treat.
I included 'Acts of Kindness' on the chart for the sole reason of reminding myself to acknowledge acts of kindness I witness from her throughout the day. I also want her to take pride in treating others with respect and kindness.

Oh my gosh, I love this so much. I love the whole design, it seriously looks like you had fun making it. I love the little stickers next to each "chore" that, I think, show a cute little picture to illustrate each task. I love that it's titled Mazzy's Way To Go List. I really love the Acts of Kindness part.
Keri, you have always been so intentional in your parenting. You look ahead. You plan. I've always admired that about you and I believe it will do your children well.
I want to copy you.
This is awesome! I love the shapes and zig zaggy path to the prize. Acts of kindness is an awesome thing to reward her for. It seems we all could use a reminder to treat kindly. And you're right, sometimes parents need a reminder to acknowledge the good in our kids more often.y
Way to go Mama! I will also be stealing this idea in a few years.
Thanks, ladies! It seems to be working it's "magic"...hopefully it lasts. :)
Ali, please copy if ya want...if Mazzy hears Ev has a chart she'll be even more excited! ;)
Erin, Mazzy blew a kiss and an "air hug" to her brother last night. It was ADORABLE!
